Partner review release
From robust prototype to shippable fundraising product
The Nonprofit Capital Navigator is a standalone nonprofit-fundraising system. This release demonstrates the complete human-guided workflow that can be built safely without accounts, a server database, live funder feeds, or submission integrations.
What the prototype proves now
- A partner can complete a structured organization, program, evidence, readiness, and funding-priority intake.
- The system applies visible deterministic rules to produce a readiness score, dimension scores, and estimated capital stage.
- It ranks example opportunity pathways from a dated, sourced research snapshot and explains the fit signal and human diligence required.
- It creates a tailored 30/60/90-day preparation plan and identifies unresolved gates.
- An authorized advisor can record a decision, priority, corrections, and product feedback.
- Partners can save locally and export/import a provider-neutral workflow record, review packet, or advisor-feedback file.
- Sourced research, partner-entered facts, prototype analysis, and human decisions remain explicitly separated.
What is deliberately not claimed
- No opportunity is live-verified at the moment of use.
- No uploaded evidence is authenticated, parsed, or independently verified.
- No score is an eligibility determination or funding recommendation.
- No outreach, application, transaction, or submission occurs.
- No shared account, server-side record, role permission, or multi-user collaboration exists.
- No AI system acts autonomously or changes product policy.
Production layers still required
- Identity and permissions: organization accounts, advisor roles, consent, tenant isolation, and recovery.
- Secure domain storage: encrypted records, document storage, retention controls, backups, and immutable audit events.
- Evidence service: document ingestion, provenance, versioning, extraction, verification states, and human exception review.
- Opportunity intelligence: licensed or public-source ingestion, refresh schedules, change detection, deduplication, deadline verification, and source citations.
- Decision services: versioned readiness rules, explainable matching, scenario testing, bias and quality review, and approval gates.
- Advisor operations: queues, assignments, comments, case history, notifications, and service-level expectations.
- Controlled integrations: CRM, email, calendars, public portals, and submission connectors with least privilege and explicit approval.
- Operations and governance: monitoring, incident response, data policy, compliance review, model evaluation, rollback, and product analytics.
Recommended build sequence
- Pilot: use this prototype with a small expert-led cohort; collect corrections to the workflow, scoring, opportunity model, and advisor handoff.
- Secure beta: add accounts, organization records, documents, advisor queues, and an admin-managed opportunity catalog.
- Intelligence beta: add verified source refresh, explainable matching services, alerts, and measured recommendation quality.
- Controlled automation: draft outreach and applications, but keep evidence, fit, approval, and submission human-gated.
- Product release: expand integrations only after security, reliability, accessibility, governance, and cohort outcomes are proven.
Feedback requested from the domain partner
- Which readiness gates are missing, incorrectly weighted, or sequenced poorly?
- Which capital-stage transitions do not match real nonprofit practice?
- Which opportunity-fit signals are useful, misleading, or insufficient?
- What information would a foundation or institutional funder require that the intake does not capture?
- Where must professional judgment override deterministic rules?
- What would make the exported packet genuinely useful in an advisor-client engagement?
Iteration rule: partner feedback remains project-local until it is reviewed, generalized, provenance-linked, validated, and explicitly approved. This product does not silently update external systems or Osiris canonical truth.
